Here are the locks.......
QBs--Losman, Holcombe, Matthews/Woodbury (3)
RBs--McGahee, Lee, WIlliams (6)
FB--Shelton (7)
WR--Moulds, Evans, Parrish, Reed, Aiken (12)
TE---Campbell, Euhus, Neufeld (15)
OT--Gandy, Williams, Peters, McFarland (19)
OG--Anderson, Villarrial, Smith (22)
C--Teague, Tucker (24)
P--Moorman (25)
K--Lindell (26)
LS--Dorenbos (27)

DE--Schobel, Kelsay, Denney (30)
DT--Adams, Anderson, Edwards, Bannan (34)
MLB--Fletcher, Haggan (36)
OLB--Spikes, Posey, Crowell, Stamer (40)
FS--Vincent, Baker (42)
SS--Milloy, Wire (44)
CB--Clements, McGee, Thomas, Greer (48)

That leaves 5 spots open.

My probables for those 5 spots: Gates (RB) Gause (DE) Smith (WR) Preston (C), and King (CB).

Practice Squad: I am not feeling too sure about...but here's a crack at it.
1)Woodbury (if Matthews does not retire), 2) Towns, 3) Ritzmann, 4)Sape
5)Goldsberry, and 6)Geisinger.

Everett will be on IR? Will that take a roster spot?

Have at it....

I agree with almost everything except that my 5 spots left are:
Gause (DE)
Preston (C)
King (CB)
Ritzmann/Sape (DE/DT)
Goldsberry (FB)

For PS:
1. Gates (RB)
2. Geisinger or Gudmunsen (OG)
3. Troy Brown (WR)
4. Therrian Fontenot (CB)
5. Liam Ezekiel (LB)

I would replace Sape with ezekial on the P.S.. I f Sape doesnt crack the 53 man line up this year I think he will be cut.

I would also like to see Gudmundsen(sp?) make atleast the P.S. for some reason I really like this guy and I think with a year or two with McNally I think he could become a starter.

I don't think Smith is going to make the roster over either Preston or Geisinger.

i dont think Lawrence smith makes the roster.. tucker can fill both those spots.. and preston can too. i think that roster spot will go to the fb we picked up after the draft.

i agree with most but i think that wr's will be reed gone and smith would be in there, also on the ps i think marvin ward from northwestern has a shot they seem to like him also brad czeislak the te due to the injuries we have there, sape i think is gone and also geisslinger instead of lawrence smith on the oline maybe kevin thompson istead of woodbury, but other than that good job

See my siggy... The only major difference I have is... I think Shaud Williams will be the odd man out... Gates will be the 3rd RB/FB while Goldsberry will be 2nd FB.

BTW... I agree with Totonka

No way S Williams gets cut. So does anyone have any UDFAs making the 53 like we had last year?

I'll go with draz54, except that Gause beats out Ritzmann at DE, Ezekiel makes it as a 7th LB, and we keep only 4 safeties, with Leonhard going to the PS.

- I think Goldsberry makes it. He's a solid FB and fantastic at ST.

- Also, maybe Gause to backup Schobel...unless Ritzmann steps up and does something. But I feel Ritzman is too small. At 254, he has more of a linebacker build and won't be able to compete with an NFL OT in the 300s. I think Gause at 275 lbs will be much better suited for that. I don't think Ritzmann is bad though and suspect he would benefit more by playing on a team like the Patriots who play a 3-4 and like large LBs to do inbetween duties of LB and DEs.

- I look forward to the backup DT battle between Sape and Bannan...

- Liam Ezekiel could unseat a backup LB. This kid is that good. At worst, he will end up in the PS. I like the opening line of his bio: " Ezekiel was an absolute terror in the middle of the defense during his four years at Northeastern."

For PS:

- I thought it might be nice to keep a WR in the PS squad since I think Smith is out this year - unless Aiken and/or Reed look terrible in TC. I suspect Parrish wins 3rd while Reed and Aiken fight for 4th/5th. In looking at our undrafted WRs, I thought Tony Brown had potential. He has good height/size (6'2, 199 lbs) for a WR and has sure hands. Not sure on his speed, but maybe he's a project worth developing.

- I also figured we would keep a CB to develop. I like Therrion Fontenot b'cse he has sprinter like speed (like Jabari Greer). If not, maybe Lawrence Richardson.

- We will also need an OT here...either Geisinger or Gudmundsen.

Players on IR do not count on the 53-man roster
i dnt think sape is practice squad eligible.you're right..he's been in the league for at least 2 years..hence..ineligible for practice squad

Hasn't the PS has been expanded to 8 players, too?

I'd be surprised if George Gause doesn't make it as an UDFA. We're thin at DE, we didn't draft any DE's, and the Bills pursued him very hard after the draft. A lot of people had him going as a first day pick.

I think Ezekiel, Leonhard and Goldsberry also have a shot.

It's only a prediction but IMO only a half of the draft picks will make the team.
Parrish, Preston and King. (Everett wil be on the DL)
