I wonder which genius decided that they should schedule a home Sabres game at the same time and night that the Bills are hosting the Broncos on Saturday Night Football.

The last Vikings game I went to was on a Sat, and they had home Timberwolves and Wild games that night. Talk about a traffic nightmare, people were leaving the Metrodome, and having to wait for the people going to the Target Center and the Wild arena.

That's insane. You'd think that they'd know eachother's schedules.

You'd skip a Bills game to go to a Sabres game? there are only 8 home Bills games a year and 16 total- there are 42 home Sabres games and 84 total- that's 5x as many. I only miss Bills games for weddings or funerals (and even then I only miss them under extreme duress)

My prediction and it would be very smart....

The Sabres will have it moved to an afternoon game at like 2pm or 3pm. If they do this, they may even have a chance to sell out the game. I know I'd go. That would be awesome. Start the day with the Buffalo Sabres with Vanek vs. Pittsburgh Penguins with Crosby. Then you go out to the Anchor Bar for a Buffalo Wing dinner and then head to the Ralph for the night game.

Honestly, I doubt the NHL paid any attention to the NFL schedule save maybe the Super Bowl.

"The Sabres tried to correct the glaring problem but were unable because they also play the Penguins the night before in Pittsburgh. The NHL won't allow an afternoon game to be scheduled the day after a night game."

WTF! Good luck selling that game out. I predict that their won't even be 10,000 people at the game and that the traffic will be a ****ing nightmare on route 90 that night. :ill:
