That’s what I thought, but Miami has a bye in week 3 or 4. We are Miami’s 4th game. He won’t be back until the next week.

the bye week counts towards his suspension.. we will be his first game back.

Actually, I mentioned this several months back.

Miami has a bye on week 4 and we are their 5th game in which Ricky will come back - so his debut will be against us.

The suspension is 4 games, not 4 weeks, right? I'm not trying to be a jerk, but how can the bye week count towards his suspension? Does anyone have a link stating how this works?

seriously, I don't think it matters. Good RB's can be immediately effective in the NFL, and I think Brown will get the bulk of the work. Plus Ricky will be out of practice- my guess is they'll use him as a situational back to try to get his feet wet, but we won't see much of him unless Sam Adams lands on Brown's leg and turns his femur into powder.

And as much as Dolphins fans hate the Bills, I doubt any of them will shed a tear if Takeo Spikes comes up and puts a crushing hit on Ricky.

The bye week does not count as a game. Ricky's 1st game will be against TB I believe.

I read somewhere, too, that he must sit out 4 games, and therefore will come back the game after we play the Fins.

It happened to Jamal Lewis last year.....The Ravens had a bye right before they played us, and that didn't count towards his suspension. Had they of not had the bye week, he would of played against us...he started against the Redskins the next week I believe..

not sure.. i was just going by what i read in a recent article.. it stated he would be back in the game after the bye week.. which is us.
