While most Bills Zoners already are aware of how the team's chances this season are viewed by most of the pundits, an article in the Rochester D & C summarizes a number of them with quotations. As might be expected, the major knock on the team is the fact that JP Losman has taken over at QB and is a first year starter. Still, the article is an interesting summary of what many posts here have reported and discussed over the last couple of months.

"According to the magazines in our annual training camp-opening survey, the Bills will finish third in the AFC East, behind the New England Patriots and New York Jets and ahead of the Miami Dolphins.
The Bills are picked to finish second in the division by three publications, third by six and fourth by one."

All I can say is that the Bills get no respect...! :fury:

"At the least, Losman is a new problem for AFC East defensive coordinators, who after 12 years had Drew Bledsoe figured out. Bledsoe went 7-11 against the division with Buffalo, including 3-9 against the Patriots and Jets, the two clubs the Bills have to learn to beat to get anywhere."

Sounds pretty fair to me. The Bills will finish a game or two behind the Jets, IMO.
