I just saw on ESPN ticker that Mike Modano is about to sign with Boston. Anyone else heard this?


Do you think Buffalo will sign any FA's ? If we dont do you think we are losing out in the new changes in the NHL that help markets like ours?

i still think modano's better off staying with the Stars.boston has the money to get him though.

I have a feeling this means the end of Joe Thorton in Boston. As far as the Sabres, I give up as far as them signing anybody.

The word is that Modano is nearing a deal to stay 5 years in Dallas. I think after seeing the deal Yzerman took to remain with the franchise that he is the face of, Modano will look like a horse's ass if he bolts for the $$.
