"Sleeper" Role Perfect for Aiken

The tattoo on his chest reads "sleeper" - and for Sam Aiken, the nickname is very fitting.

Aiken is a member of a talented and extremely deep receiving corps with the Buffalo Bills. Three-time Pro Bowler Eric Moulds is at the top of the list, with up-and-coming star Lee Evans not too far behind him. Former second-round pick Josh Reed will compete with 2005 second-round pick Roscoe Parrish for the third position this training camp.

So where does that put Aiken?

In the sleeper role, naturally.

I've always liked Aiken, and still think - if he ever got some signifigant playing time - that he would be a very good receiver. He may eventually be Moulds' successor.

I have an inside source that tells me he has been told he IS the evntual succesor to Moulds and he is very good friends with JP he WILL make the team

Aiken will make it. He is probably the best run blocking reciever we have and is needed on the team. This is how I think it will pan out-Moulds, Evans, Parrish, Reed, and Aiken with Smith on the practice squad...very solid...

Aiken is a sleeper but he will make the team this year also. I like him and hope he will continue to develop.
