His initial quickness, diagnostic skills and speed are outstanding. Takes great angles to the ballcarrier and has excellent closing burst in pursuit. Sifts through traffic quickly and uses his hands to slap away blockers. Shows great power at the point of attack as a tackler and is a devastating blitzer. Has outstanding range and ball skills in coverage. </TD></TR><TR><TD colSpan=2>Weaknesses: Prefers being in space and gets frustrated if he constantly is fighting off blocks. Doesn't always play with leverage. Occasionally is out of control and takes himself out of plays by overextending. </TD></TR><TR><TD colSpan=2>Bottom line: A two-time Pro Bowl player, Spikes is a perfect fit for the Bills' scheme because he makes plays from sideline to sideline and doesn't have to come off the field. Grade: 8.7 </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

<TABLE style="BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" borderColor=#111111 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=3 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR class=ysprow2><TD colSpan=2>NO. 4 NATE CLEMENTS (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/5468/) (Buffalo Bills (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/buf/))</TD></TR><TR class=ysprow2><TD colSpan=2>Strengths: Excels in man coverage. Is physical, aggressive and confident. Will smother receivers at the line and is great at taking them out of their routes early. Can turn and run without losing much in transition; has explosive speed and can make up for mistakes. Has excellent closing burst when the ball is in the air. Has surprising change-of-direction skills. Has tremendous ball skills, including exceptional hands and leaping ability. Is a superb return specialist and a threat with the ball. </TD></TR><TR class=ysprow2><TD colSpan=2>Weaknesses: Must improve his concentration and recognition skills. Loses focus at times and does not pay attention to detail. Relies on his physical tools and speed too much. Takes too many chances. </TD></TR><TR class=ysprow2><TD colSpan=2>Bottom line: If Clements shows focus and cuts down on his mental lapses, he could become one of the league's top two corners. Grade: 8.4 </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Here is the team summary.... (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=cr-bills05preview&prov=yhoo&type=lgns)

The team that looked ready to collapse after starting 0-4 proved to be one of the league's most exciting clubs down the stretch in 2004. Buffalo's turnaround to finish 9-7 was built largely on defense and special teams and an amazing 11 starts by running back Willis McGahee (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6359/). Not surprisingly, those same components will serve as the cornerstones in 2005, especially after the Bills' decision to turn the offense over to second-year quarterback J.P. Losman (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6781/).
Ron Edwards (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/5523/) and Tim Edwards will be rotated at Williams' spot, but one will need to step up and become a consistent run-stopper with Sam Adams (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/2825/).

PREDICTION The Bills will finish 7-9 and third in the AFC East.

Seriously, I don't understand this. IMO he is the best in the league and is amazing at placing the ball down in the 10. Whoever wrote this is an idiot for not even mentioning Brian.

Moorman has the sickest coffin corner I've ever seen. Some of his kicks are godly.

Remember when he hit one at the half yard line against the Jets?

Moorman is a big shock; I mean the guy's a Probowler and one of the best in the league.

Pat Williams being rated higher than Sam Adams destroys any credibility that this piece might have had.

That, folks, is a joke.
