    A good stat on JP!

Per Tom Donohoe on Sirius, JP has not thrown one interception in camp so far.

(Don't panic about the D though. They've intercepted the backup QBs. )

I was wondering if anybody else picked up on that. I've heard Mikey say there was a couple close though.

Nope, they're not allowed to touch the QB. That's kind of a cool stat, I heard he had some close ones, but that just might show how hard he throws the ball, that DBs have a tough time holding onto them.

While I still say camp performance is generally meaningless from the standpoint of what fans can observe, I have to admit that's incredibly impressive.

I can't imagine he'd be able to keep that up for long, and I'd bet money he'll have more Int's than TD's this season, but that's quite an accomplishment at this point.

Great, TD mentioning that is like talking about a no hitter in the middle of it. You just don't do it. He will throw 3 in the Packer game....Watch.

              Great stat!
Training camp performance means something, not much, but something. As far as superstitions are concerned...I just mailed about 100 black cats to Green Bay to counteract the "hush" superstition so all is well.

baseball is whack.... i have an even better comparison... it's like saying a goaltender is going to get a shutout with 10 minutes left in the 3rd period.

i dont buy too much into superstition, though.

While it is true that he has not thrown an interception (yet), I did notice that he underthrows alot of balls. Especially on his right side. He seems to throw better toward his left - he'll step into it. Toward his right, I would guess he leans back and loses the pop in his throw. I didn't get a chance to observe him as much as I wanted to b'cse I was focusing on the O-line. And I have to say that Holcomb looks solid!!! His throws were crisp and on target every time. But that may be his experience and feeling at ease in TC. Within a ball game, their plays might translate alot differently.

Training camp doesn't say much, it will be intresting to see what he can do in Green Bay.
