Where the hell has Newman been?

I haven't seen him at all lately. I haven't seen him make one play...

Might just be me seeing the TV at the wrong time...But I haven't heard his name mentioned.

Time to get rid of this guy?

He keeps getting put in coverage when his forte is rushing the passer. If he were to switch to WLB, it might do him a world of good.

They're not using his strengths and I'm not sure why. A guy doesn't get 8 sacks in his second season and then disappear without injury. He used to blitz a lot more. He was a stud pass rusher in college and now he's in pass coverage. I don't get it, especially since this is an attacking defense and eddie robinson has lost any ounce of speed he had so he obviously can't rush.

Colvin is a Strong sider.

Newman was taken off of the field in nickle, which we were in most passing situations.
