Left tackle Jonas Jennings will undergo surgery Friday to repair a broken right index finger. He'll be out six to eight days, leaving the 49ers without three of their projected starters on the line just one week into training camp.

Do you guys think he was worth what San Fran paid him? I thought he was good, but we couldn't keep him on the field.

No he wasn't worth that type of money and we did the right thing not to resign him.

Based on his contract and Pat Williams, we will definately getting compensatory picks, right?!

I'm pretty sure we will...and the value of the picks can only go up if they play well

In terms of Jonna, you brought in Gandy..that might be a wash.

With Pat, you stood pat, and that might get you one..but you have to look at the total roster and FA signings add\loss column.
