All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Nobody guessed the final score!!! 15,000++ ZONEBUCKS unclaimed!!!
Or we could make a list of 10 Superbowl accomplishments. Starting from easiest to hardest to predict. First could be the coin toss. Then first points scored. We could have a bunch of things. Player to score first TD, first team penalty, first type of score. We could also do winner and final score as tiebreaker. 100 bucks to join. Poster with most right wins the whole pot.
You get a grid- 10 squares wide and 10 squares high (100 total)
You sell off each square. Each person who buys a square randomly puts their name in each square they bought.
After all 100 squares are sold and each square has a name in it, you randomly pick a number from 0-9 and fill it in across the top, (NFC team) then repeat down the side ( AFC Team).
At the end of the first quarter, you check the score . For example, let's say NFC13, AFC 10 you find the name in the square that intersects NFC 3 and AFC 0. That guy wins X amount of dollars.
4 quarters and up to 4 winners. It's popular at Super bowl parties and at bars. I do this when I have parties and sell the squares for $1. I've seen bars sell them for up to $100. For each square sold, the prize kitty is multiplied by $100.
With $25,000 in the kitty, I'd have 1st quarter score as $2.5 K, Halftime as $10 K, 3rd Quarter as $2.5 K, and Final score as $15K or something like that.
It's great because in SB Blowouts, everybody keeps running to the big board to see if they are in the money.
By charging 100 zoned bucks a square you will be disenfranchised a lot of people who have been doing this sense the beginning, and who have invested into the kiddie, such as myself. This was supposed to have been a friendly way of us accumulating some zone bucks.
I believe it should stay at 20 zone bucks for the first square and 50 for the additional 's squares not to exceed five, unless we need to sell them at the end.
This has been an enjoying game that I've been participating in since its beginning. And I really don't want to see those who have a lot of zone bucks just push all of us less active members out of the party.
If you do it by 100 zone bucks a square, you will be creating a click type atmosphere, here. Which is something I feel you all have been trying to avoid. I don't think you all want this , board looking like the BBI board. I think you want more than just a few participating in the discussions like it is on a few others.
I sometimes feel less of a participant here, but all in all, everyone is pretty friendly except for a few, which you would expect in any large group of people.
So I think you need to really think this out, and see if making it a larger pot is worth the possibility of losing some who do come here but do not participate verbally, but just enjoy the reading and commenting once in a while.
Please keep the zone click free.

That sounds fair- I'll just keep it at $25 for all of them with a limit of 4 per entrant. If we can't sell it out, then we will bump up additional squares to $100 per.
At 4 per entrant, that's 25 individuals who can get a shot at it. (more if people buy less than 1)
