BILLS NOTEBOOK: Packers had their eye on Losman

Green Bay Packers coach Mike Sherman left no doubt that he would've drafted Buffalo Bills quarterback J.P. Losman with the 25th pick in the first round of the 2004 NFL draft.

The Bills foiled those plans when they swung a trade with Dallas and swooped in to take the former Tulane star No.22 overall. Sherman had to wait until this year to get his heir apparent to Brett Favre, taking Cal's Aaron Rodgers. http://www.democratandchronicle.com/...02/1007/SPORTS
