When the 2nd stringers came in, it became very obvious that the Bills were a much better team than the Packers. Sterling Sharp kept saying "there is a big drop" on the Packers side; you may also interpret it as there is a competant backups for the Bills.
I'm not going to undermine April's ability and what he brought to the Bills, but maybe a big reason for the Bills' special team success last year is the quality of the backups, improving since Donahoe/Modrak came in town, finally showed up?
Never under-estimate the service of your backups. There is a reason teams like NE can stay on top after suffering bad injuries to their top players where others simply fold under the same circumstances (Packers being one). I think the Bills are on the right path teamwise.
