You don't often hear about GMs/coaches openly discuss what they would've done drafting players, particularly some of the discussed players are on your team.
I've never seen either Losman not Rodgers play in college. From the articles, it seems like Rodgers is a better bet to be a solid NFL QB, but Losman, though a riskier pick, has the upside of capable of carrying a team.
Assuming Mularkay is fully aware of this, then it is really up to him and his staff to make sure that Losman keeps growing this season while not losing too many games in order to get into the playoff this year.
BTW, the Steelers had Losman in town for a pre-draft interview last year. In a radio interview regarding QBs of this year's darft in April, Kevin Colbert (who took Donahoe's job) said they believed Losman is on par with (or a little better than) the top QBs of 2005.
