They practiced on the Growney Stadium turf and wore their shoulder pads and shorts. There was some minimal hitting, but they took it easy today. The main items on the agenda for today were special teams coverage, 7-on-7, and the full team scrimmage 11-on-11 drill.</p>

good news about Lionel Gates- I'm worried about what happens if McGahee goes down and I really hope Gates can step it up. I hope they don't keep him on kick returns because we've got at least 4 other guys who can do it- McGee, Clements, Parrish, Smith.

good news about Lionel Gates- I'm worried about what happens if McGahee goes down and I really hope Gates can step it up. I hope they don't keep him on kick returns because we've got at least 4 other guys who can do it- McGee, Clements, Parrish, Smith.
I'm not worried. Both Shaud Williams and Lionel Gates have been very good at camp. Even ReShard Lee has done a good job. :up:

As for KRs....Nate Clements is on PRs, not KRs. I don't want him on Kick Returns. IF Lionel Gates can do the job as good as McGee...put them both back there. Then the opponents will have to pick their poison. :snicker:
