ATLANTA (Ticker) - The Atlanta Thrashers added some frontline depth Monday, signing left wings Eric Boulton and Ramzi Abid and center Scott Barney.

The Thrashers had signed center Bobby Holik on Tuesday to complement star right wing Dany Heatley and left wing Ilya Kovalchuk.

The physical Boulton, 28, registered 17 points and 511 penalty minutes in 172 games with the Buffalo Sabres from 2000-04. Last season, Boulton registered 23 goals and 16 assists with 124 penalty minutes in 48 games with the Columbia Inferno of the ECHL.

yea this happened a while ago I don't know why they are only reporting it now...

anyway, Boulton was my fav. Sabre enforcer, I liked him more than Peters and Ray or anyone to be honest, sucks to see him go, although I knew we woulda been keeping Peters over him

Boulton was a straight up pansy, he wasnt even a good fighter he was done thorwing punches after one or two.....remember when he wore the visor for a little bit? hahaha :limp:
