Coy Wire cause he was thrown right into a starting role and did a good job for a rookie starter

I'd say Coy Wire too.

Is Kevin Thomas a rookie?

Yeah, but so did Josh Reed and Mike Williams.

I agree though, I'd go with Wire. He was not only thrown into starting, he also had to start at a new position.

Im gonna say Mike Williams. Immediate starter and did really well from the begging, heard no complaints on the board about him.

If Thomas had been playing all year long, and he was able to play as well as he did, when he finally did start playing, he'd be ROTY all the way, hands down.

But I heard that he wasn't quite ready to be thrown on the field until later on in the year, so I stick with Coy Wire.

Coy Wire has sucked more than he played well. The best Rookie on this team is clearly Mike Williams. Josh Reed is the second.

Yeah, but Coy Wire has shown flashes of brilliance, and really came on in the end of the season.

I'm not saying Mike hasn't done a good job, but I will say that Bledsoe was the 2nd most sacked QB (54) in the NFL this season (Carr, most sacked at 76). Mike Williams and the rest of the OL must yeild the majority of responsibility for allowing that crap to happen. While Wire started off slightly shakey, he improved rapidly and never made the same mistake twice.

The bottom line is everybody expected Big Mike to come in and play huge, if you ask me i am a little dissapointed at how his pass blocking came along this season(i still say his is one of the 3 best run blockers in the NFL), also mike got injured this season, Josh Reed would have won it hands down if he was a starting WR on this team, but i would have to vote for Wire because he came in as a late pick (he is rated as a 45 overall CB in madden 2003) and stepped up huge and solved a huge problem in our secondary(although i hope he gets better at coverage this off season)

not to mention the fact that coy was our teams second leading tackler(behind Fletch)
