Hey Mikey I have one HUGE Training Camp question

I want to know how the Bills look at this point in time right now to how they looked in training camp at the same time point last year? Do they look to be farther ahead or do they look like they have taken steps backwards? I think this is the biggest issue that people should be looking into yet I haven't heard anyone discuss it, this is something I would really like to hear about

Re: Hey Mikey I have one HUGE Training Camp question

I didn't know that about Mikey working nights so I'm sorry about that but I saw he had been on here posting since this post and first of all I was being sarcastic and it's not a big deal but the reason I did post that is that on this messageboard my posts always get ignored and it seems like you have to be one of the "known" posters on here for your questions to get taken seriously. I am very curious about how far along we are right now compared to where we were at last year at this time and would just like some feedback from anyone who has been at training camp the past two years

Sorry about missing this post. I've been busy and I must have skipped it when I was online. The Bills look pretty good at training camp so far. I think that the defense looks better than last year. They seem more aggressive at times and are now starting to get the INTs and Fumbles in bundles. However, I also think that the offense is behind last year and a big reason of that is that the team is getting used to a new QB. Drew Bledsoe had been there for 3 years and the receivers got used to where he was throwing. I've noticed that Lee Evans is more in sync with Losman right now, but Eric Moulds is getting better. Willis McGahee looks better than last year, definitely faster. The offensive line looks better than at this point last year. They are starting to gell and the left side is getting better each day. The depth worries me a bit, especially the interior of the line with the injuries. Overall, it's only been about 2 weeks of training camp so far and there is still another week and a 1/2 to go.

Well what you posted was what I basically wanted to know, I'm glad to hear the o-line looks farther ahead that is a huge plus because it took them awhile to gel last season. I'm not suprised about the offense because that is what I expected with a new qb taking over but I assume the actual talent level is stronger so that when everyone gets on the same page this offense will start to roll. I think this is gonna be a prime season for our defense, I'm just praying we don't run into anymore injuries

I think that after a few preseason games, we will see the offense start to come together more quickly. I have noticed a HUGE difference from the first couple days from camp. But sometimes they have bad days too.

I disagree, The O is faster and our running game is ahead of last year.

Gates alone IMO looks better than Henry did in last years camp.
Holcomb doesn't look any different than the way Drew did last year. This is based on the 2 camps I attended even if the 2nd one was sloppy.

and like you said, the D is better which is why it may appear that the O is not as good as last year.

thats probably it. The d makes the O look worse.
