SUperBowlSquares Mega Jackpot- $20,000 Zonebucks

Since no one was able to claim the Mega Jackpot of over 15,000 ZoneBucks for accuratly predicting the Bill Bengals game, we are going to roll it over into a Superbowl squares contest.

Rules- $25 per square- Maximum of 4 squares per member

Make donations to Fat Tony- please put in "SuperBowl Squares" into the comment section of the donations.

There are 100 squares to be sold. Any unsold squares will be raffled off 2 days prior to the Superbowl to the highest bidders.

How to play-

A grid of 100 squares is laid out (10 across, 10 down) These squares are "sold", and the buyer places his/her name randomly on each square bought. Once all the squares are sold and filled in, numbers 0-9 are randomly drawn and placed along the top (AFC TEAM) and along the side (NFC TEAM)

at the end of each quarter, the person who owns the square that intersects the last digit in each team's score wins.

Example- end of 1st quarter

NFC 13, AFC 7. Whomever owns the square that intersects N3, A7 wins!


Prize distribution- 1st quarter 20%, Halftime 20% 3rd Qtr 20%, Final 40%



Typ0 is trying to come up with some system that will allow you to pick your squares beforehand. It is not in place yet, but we will sell the squares starting now. Post here if you are in!

Once the board is designed, the picking should be done in the order of paying. Just like you would do at any bar or party. Usually you don't sell squares until the board is made so the people can pick as they pay.

Actually- with the suprising response we have received- Typ0 has been putting together a real cool AUTOMATED superbowl squares program that should be ready soon- maybe next week.

It will automatically deduct the cost of the square and even put your avatar intot he square you select. It will be very nice!

It looks like we will be able to set up multiple squares pools as well. Maybe one for high rollers (expensive squares) and others for people who miss out on this one.

That way we won't have to limit people on squares and include all. Patients my freinds!

Perhaps we can add a financing option, refinancing if we do a second board, and instead of simply squares, perhaps cubes for another dimension!

The new pool system will handle all the "financial transactions" and we will be able to have as many pools as we want. Even the general users will be able to design their own pools. We'll probably give away pools to users that want to manage one in some contests or something if people are interested. We'll definately have this thing rolled out by early next week and probably do a test on it this weekend. Hang in there folks there will be plenty of pool squares for everyone and we'll do at least one for every game next weekend!
