Not only are they playing terribly with neither QB playing well, and the O-line not showing much improvement, but now they may be getting injuries as well:

Actually, the o-line played a lot better against Jax. Gus and AJ had plenty of time to throw. Gus actually looked good as well. He made the right reads but just overthrew his receivers. That is a timing issue that can easily be worked out. Plus, Ricky looked like his old self. Defense played great as well.

Feeley looked horrid though. Gus is definately in the driver's seat.

Oh the woes of the phins. Amazing how much talk there always is about the Phins on this site. Since I don't have the latest version of smellnet, I will just say that I see fear here. Brown is in camp now and you all have to boost your hopes by putting down the Phins.
Better worry about your own woes. Go ahead and bring all your Phins QB crap, truth is that you have some serious ?'s on you squad too.

Pathetic.

Yeah the Bills first unit looked great aginst nobody Sunday night did the Colts have one starter in the lineup at all?? I think most of the Colts players were out and WM had what 10 yrds before he limped of the field and ended his evening?? Your line couldn't block one of the worst D's in the league and thats just their backups?!?!? How sad, At least the Jags have one of the better Dlines and our first unit handeld them with no problem.

I also believe our starting D sacked Leftwich four times in two series.

Why, because beauty Jason will be chasing him?? I'm sure when he ever gets him, will ask for a date or something. Also, I'm not not sure if wheel chairs are allowed in the NFL, I don't know, I think we have to ask TO.

:lolpoint:Buffalo O-line., yours are NOT better than ours either!!!

Hey mysticsoto, where did you happen to get this injury report from? Why do I ask? Because Marty Booker and Feeley are not doubtful, Evans and Thompson are not questionable, and Schulters is not out. Did you happen to get this list from Yahoo?

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/injuries

You do know that even though some players are listed under their new teams, that injury list has not been updated since Feb. 13th? Those injuries are what they had at the END OF THE YEAR. Not current. lol.

Dallas at 12 is stupid and Green Bay being ranked higher than the Bills makes no sense. I think they rank teams by the amount of free agents past their prime a team signs ie Dallas. Experts don't realize that the Bills don't need JP to be amazing to win, they have last years second ranked D, first ranked special teams, and a future all-pro RB. Go Bills!

You guys didn't handle anybody, you were handled and the result was another loss. One positive, Ricky is improving.

well, miami can take the solace in that san fran may just suck worse than them.....

but from these power rankings... i call BS on my jets only because you get rid of 2 of your prospective starters in mcgraw, and mickens (was projected as a possible cb for abraham), Lose McKenzie on the O-Line, but thats about it.

Just as long as both teams do better than NE, the jets and bills can only go up, pending both stay healthy!

Dude you need to stop and put down the crack pipe. Show me where I was crying. Oh, wow look at that you cant. Next, who attacked who first? Please note that I did not attack anyone until I was attacked. So go and figure out for yourself who is finding fault with who...Like yourself. If you cannot handle a little fun talking about rivals without making it personal, you got issues.

In the backround of just about every post you make is the sound of a crying child wailing on and on. As far as attacking someone first it was you who came here looking to stir the soup and then when the kitchen gets too hot you wail. As far as finding fault is concerned you made mention about all the talk about the fins on a bills site, the irony (stay with me here) is that the only way you could know this is because you spend so much time on our Bills site. So at the very least we have a pot calling the kettle black scenario, but somehow you are unable to see this through your nasty aqua colored sunglasses. So then you proceeded to say (and don't get your panties in a bunch here I am paraphrasing) "Justa started it"! Very mature justification on your part. Finally you allude to me taking the things you say personally. Now for the sake of bandwidth and server space I will not go back and re-hash all of the remarks you aimed directly at other posters, nope I won't bring that up. I won't mention the ridiculous posts you try to pass off as "intelligent" football conversation, nope I won't do that either. Instead I will simply remind you of how foolish you look running your mouth about how great the dolphins looked after your second consecutive loss.

Miami good/bad news:

The good news for the Fins was that QB Gus Frerotte's passer rating was nearly twice as high as A.J. Feeley's; the bad news is that Feeley managed only a 27.7.

Well, let's get into a couple of things here. #1, you should have probably pretended that those old injury reports were real then. B'cse what you are now telling me is that you really suck that bad and those are your starters! That's even worse!!!!

I think one of the voices in FeelThePain's head mentioned something about our O-line...clearly you didn't see our scrimmage or 1st preseason game to claim this. And clearly you didn't if you somehow think your team will compare to ours. Our D has just risen to Baltimore levels and will absolutely destroy you. I can't wait to see how often Ron Edwards is in Gus' face. I have to say Gus, b'cse Feeley has looked so horrible, that in most team's depth chart, he would be #3 just like he was in Philly. Miami is the only place where he could challenge to start. How sad.

And I find it very funny that whenever a dolphin posts, a bunch of them post at once...it's like one of them (FeelThePain, this sounds like you since you are kind of whiny, scared, insecure and in need of support) goes off and calls others to come and post.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but your team is still the scum of the AFC East and maybe of the NFL...and will remain at the bottom for some time.

buff what?

I not saying our o-line is great not by any means. But they have shown some improvement, but still have a ways to go. But the Bills also have some concerns on your line. You have Jerman as one of your cheif backups, he could not crack a horrible Fins line last year, what does that say for him. It will be interesting to see.

Go grab a dictionary and look up the term paraphrase, here I'll even help, the letter "p" comes right after the letter "o"
Like I have already stated, the whining is evident in all of your posts, no need to quote or cut and paste all of your posted nonsense, its all there, but perhaps a tidbit just to demonstrate: My original post to you:
Whats worse some Bills fans posting about the fins, or a fins fan visiting a Bills site to see if the fins are mentioned or not?
Your response:

Hmm. lets look at that. How about Justasportsfan that has more then 12,000 posts on a fin board. And that is a lot more then he has here.
In other words (another way of saying paraphrase) He's worse than I am...nursey school defense.

Jerman is not one of our "chief" backups...where did you get that from? He's probably going to be among the 1st cuts we do. Our main backups will probably be Jason Peters, Ross Tucker, Dylan McFarland, Duke Preston and that's probably it due to the fact that Tucker & Preston can play Center or Guard and McFarland will probably backup MW although I'm not sure if he's practicing a little Guard also. For the PS, I hope we keep Gudmunsen. On IR we have Ben Sobieski and Lawrence Smith who may return midway through the season if we had need of them. I think David Pruce looked decent too - if he can be put in the PS also, that'd be great but he's not a rookie so I don't know the complete rules about who's allowed in the PS. He might have potential The rest will be casualties.

Although "uneducated" is probably a good fitting word for FTP, I think "delusional" applies better in this case...The Dolphins are having a QB controversy despite FTP's assurance that Feeley was going to look good this year. Gus already appears to be winning the role, having gotten the nod for the next game against Pittsburgh. Atleast they got Ronnie Brown now although he did cost them a pretty penny!

What controversey??? I don't know of any controversey!! Once again a Bill fan without any knowledge of what he's talking about. Please show me one link anywhere where SABAN says we have an issue with any QB!! You can't and you won't, why??? Beause Saban hasn't said a word about who stands where. You're always posting lies, you HOPE the fins have problems , you listen to reports on games and pick and choose what you post to make yourself feel better. Half the time your lie or post only the negatives....wow, tough to make a team look bad with that mentality and approach. Do you ever notice I don't come here and talk about your teams controversy?? I could, believe me your team is far from good and could be the worst team in the division from just one injury!! JP had a pick and a fumble all by himself and was forcing the ball on more then one occasion, I worrie about your QB before you start looking elsewhere to bust on other QB. Your team played a joke of a Colts team no starters and PJ was getting forced out of the pocket all night. You have issues at QB and Oline.

"Saban's decision was a clear setback for Feeley, who ended last season as Miami's starter before missing the regular season finale with an injury."

"Working exclusively with the first team this week would seem to give Frerotte the opportunity to pull away from Feeley and perhaps even shut the door on the competition, but Frerotte isn't looking at it in those terms."

"coach Nick Saban said Monday that Frerotte was a "little bit ahead" of Feeley and would start Saturday night's preseason game at Pittsburgh."

Article found on Fox. I think Saban has handled this well so far, but he did give the edge to Gus. The competition isn't over, but Gus is slowly pulling away with the number one position.

this is just a smart economical move. He is basically playing for free. He was judged to give 8.6 million to the dolphins, which he obviously doesn't have. He can, however, come back on his previous contract and play to pay off what he owes. If we had not taken him back, we would have lost the money.

Its playing for free.

We already drafted Ronnie Brown to be our next tailback, so Ricky is just icing on the cake. Would you not take back a previous NFL-leading rusher and Pro Bowl MVP for free? to pass up on that.... that would be just stupid. Only the people with serious mental issues would harbor anger for this long. You, like some phin fans, need to get over themselves and just accept that he is back, no matter for what personal reasons.

FYI justa i guess you could say i'm another FH person who hides behind a different name? :D

i actually get slammed more on finheaven than anywhere else.... for instance i don't think David Boston is the second coming of Jerry Rice like some people over there like to believe, and i don't think we'll go to the playoffs, like others seem to think. I think hitting .500 would be a great goal for us this year, but if i posted that over there i would be raped.

Actually i just ignore everything he pretty much says. Oh Ronnie Brown, three months ago he tried convicing me he's better then wills and he laughed out of the forum.

Your team played a joke of a Colts team no starters and PJ was getting forced out of the pocket all night. You have issues at QB and Oline. He just put up a link about the controversey, 3 posts before you ran you mouth. Ok sure JP didn't play the best defence in the world, but feely didnt do alot better. Once again you only are educated on one half of the story. So im going to give you some stats, and when you ignore them with uneducated opinions everyone else will see what i already know.

AJ Feely Stats
<TABLE class=tablehead cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=3><TBODY><TR class=evenrow align=right><TD noWrap align=left>A. Feeley (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=2704)</TD><TD>6/13</TD><TD>60</TD><TD>4.6</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>1</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

JP's
<TABLE class=tablehead cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=3><TBODY><TR class=oddrow align=right><TD noWrap align=left>J. Losman (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=5547)</TD><TD>11/19</TD><TD>88</TD><TD>4.6</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Losman's completion pecentage is better, he fumbled once, AJ throw a pick.

Losman looks just about the same as Feely the guy who you think is going to be a stud. Guess what? Losmans younger has a stronger arm, and is more mobile. Besides Feely isn't even going to start, Gus is. Worry about your QB, and your crappy o-line, before you start ripping ours.

FTP always playing the fool - you're like the Billzone Jester. Where's the controversy? Who's your starting QB??? You don't know - why? B'cse it's up in the air! Take your medication and pay attention. Uhhh...Saban, your Miami coach, had said that he would alternate QBs - that means they take turns starting. They are taking turns b'cse Saban himself doesn't know who is going to start. That's called a QB controversy - there is no set starter and it could go either way!!! Some people want Gus, some want Feeley - no doubt the coaches are also divided. It should be Feeley's turn to start. But it isn't. Saban has changed to start Gus, b'cse currently he's looking better than the crappy play that Feeley has been demonstrating. I don't care about the irrationalities on why you continually resist admitting that Feeley sucks. The sooner you admit that, the better for you in your step to recovery from all the demons that ail you.

As to JP...ha-ha. Clearly you don't know anything about what you are talking about. You didn't see the preseason game and are trying to comment on it and are just looking stupid. JP fumbled b'cse Goldsberry, an undrafted backup fullback that probably won't make the team, missed his block on a blitz. JP shouldn't have been out there anyway as all the O-line were backups - that's not a likely scenario in a real game, however, so it's not really something to worry about.

And by the way, we did play Colt starters. While they were in, the result was the same. Manning tasted turf! And when Tony Dungy saw the intensity of our Defense, he quickly took them out. He was scared they were going to get hurt! If somehow Feeley is in when we play Miami this year, he better where a pillow around his butt to save his buttocks from hurting!!!

It must really be eating you that we've looked good in our 1st showing (and scrimmage) and Miami has looked terrible with only a few bright spots here and there. Feeley needs a map to even find the bathroom much less know his way around the field. And Gus can't even remember what he used to do when he was a starter. Your Oline is worse than ours, but your too stubborn to admit it. Nice try though - but just because you keep repeating it doesn't make it true. And already Boston is starting his path down injury lane again with "sore knees".

Anyway you look at it, your team is not looking good - that's why you're so upset. You can't stand that the Bills will outclass your crappy Dolphins once again! Too bad...deal with it!

I you'd like to call it a controversey you can and you will because you have to make everything in fins camp into something more then it is, I call it competition, something your coach isn't smart enough to do. By creating competition you allow the best players to lineup come game day also by having a competition you get the players who want the job more to step up. This is good for the team, not bad as you're trying to insinuate. You think Feeley sucks thats clear, I don't and since I've seen far more of him then you I'd say I'm the one who knows what he's talking about and you as usual ....don't, what a surprise.

I did see the preseason game, I saw him play well at times and poorly others, he forces the ball too much and he always wants to run rather leting the play develop he had a fumble and an INT. If you'd like to make excuses as to why JP fumbled and then tell everyone here AJ sucks for the same reason, what does this say about your opinion???? AJ has no blacking last year thanks to the worst coaching in the league, but AJ sucks and it's all his fault, while JP gets a free pass because you say so!!! Now who's the one looking dumb. If you are going to make excuses for your players and then tell everyone the AJ sucks for the same kind of plays then obviously you have nothing to bring to the table and should be kept from posting...also, growing up might help.

In order to have a real competition, it requires that you have two players that are actually capable of playing the game. And sorry, but Feeley doesn't cut it. You seem to be the only one left defending this guy. Enough with the excuses, Feeley is nothing more than a back up and the Eagles screwed Miami over in a big way with that trade.

I did see the preseason game, I saw him play well at times and poorly others, he forces the ball too much and he always wants to run rather leting the play develop he had a fumble and an INT. Buffalo's o-line pretty much held Indy's defense in check most of the night. If you want to see an o-line get man handled, pop in the tape of Miami & Chicago. Now that was as pathetic a display of o-line play as I have seen in a long time.

Uhhh...I'm not the only one that thinks Feeley sucks. Many fin fans do and even Saban appears to be agreeing as he has now atleast temporarily given the nod to Gus, asking him to start in your 3rd preseason game. You are halfway thru your preseason, and so far, Saban seems to be leaning toward Gus. Sorry that you're too stubborn to admit it. When Feeley is on the bench, you'll have to think of an excuse so you don't look like an idiot for worshipping him...

All I see you do is regurgitate what other posters say. You never seem to have an original thought. Call it an excuse or whatever you want but JP didn't fumble in the 1st half at all with his starting Oline. Can't say the same about Feeley who didn't do anything with his starting Oline. Atleast in the 2nd qtr, JP scored a touchdown!

When I said that the Colts starters didn't even play, I was talking about their D, your Oline couldn't handle the Colts second team. Thats sad, their starters aren't that good and your Oline could't protect JP from the second teamers. Not a good sign for JP!! The starting Oline couldn't handle the Colts 2nd team D? You write a whole paragraph about a preseason game and how I'm losing sleep over the teams final scores. Guess what?!?!?......You still don't get it. That's not exactly true. Alot counts. Some of the players are fighting for a job, and anything and everything *THEY* do matters for them to make the team! Also, this is where Olines start to gel and where QBs start working out the kinks. If it didn't matter at all, why even do it???

As for our Oline, wow you really believe your line is better....OK, thats fine. I know our line is not only better, but it's much better then yours. JP will get his arse handed to him this year and promise you he doesn't make it through the season un-injured, and I mean missing games injured. Running QB's get hit much harder the pocket QB's. Nobody could say anything in truth to retaliate b'cse we didn't know. For the last few sessions Gandy has performed so well, nobody has even mentioned his name in the game except for 1 penalty I believe that he had in this last preseason game. But other than that, nothing. So, it looks like our biggest question mark on the line has been answered.

Really, I don't see that at all, I see the fins finishing with a better record then the Bills. I'm not upset, where did that come from?? You have seen so much losing the last tean years or in your case your whole life that one avg. season has you over-confident and fun to watch when the Bills have another 6-10 season.:brush:<!-- / message --><!-- sig --> I asked you before to put your money where your mouth is. In front of the whole board, with everyone as a witness, I'm willing to place a wager on the Bills having a better record than your fins. You discreetly disappeared last time...so what's it going to be? Do you take me up on it, or do you put your tail between your legs like last time and disappear??? I stand by what I say? Do you?

Jeez. Can't this thread die already?

P.S. Nevermind the fact that by me posting in it it has now bumped to the top again for everyone to see. I am well aware of the hypocracy.
