The Vikings, followed by the Dolphins IMO.

vikes Then the Chiefs and the Bills (addition by subtraction) then the JETS

buff what?

Vikings
Chiefs
Argument for Raiders just with Moss.
And don't laugh here-Cardinals.

Dolphins maybe 4th or 5th even though that may come as a surprise to most on this board, coming from a Dolphin fan

Didn't the Cheifs only win 7 games last season?

No doubt San Diego, Atlanta and Seattle should ride the top of this list.

The raiders have the potential to be scary, but the team that really has suprised me so far is the Cardinals. The offense has real potential this year imo.

potential-wise the team would have to be Arizona, Oakland, or Cleveland.

results-wise over the last few years would be San Diego, Atlanta, or Cincy.

i guess i just dont see this great improvement in the dolphins this year. maybe in the run game, sure...

but how many honestly think that jason taylor will hold up as a 3-4 end and zach thomas wont get beat up behind the 3 man line?

the biggest improvement on the dolphins is in the Front Office... We have a lot of upgrades in the coaching positions, do you not agree?

The coaches can only do so much with the existing talent... it would take several drafts and offseason FA moves i would think before we can really get to where we would like to be. I think 6 wins this year is not too much to ask for of this team, which is an improvement nonetheless.

I fail to see it given how many times we see coaches move up to the pro ranks from the college ranks and bomb.

the ravens made some huge upgrades on their roster especially at wide reciever drafting clayton and signing derek mason. the also picked up samari rolle.

Vikings: Yes, they lost Moss, but they have a chance to have a real defense now.

Chiefs: Their offense is still first rate and they should be able to play some defense...at least a little now.

Cardinals: This is a close call, but their defense is decent and, with Warner and Arrington, they should be able to put up enough points to do pretty well in a very weak division.

Raiders: Moss will make Porter, Curry and Collins better and Jordan gives them a running game that they didn't have last year. Their defense is still weak, but their offense will give them a chance in most games.

Dallas will be better defensively, but their defensive rookies will make mistakes and, with Bledsoe at QB, I think there is a real limit to how much they will improve. With the Ravens, everything depends on Boller: if he remains inconsistent, it won't matter that they have much better WRs (IMHO adding Rolle doesn't make their defense that much better than it was simply because it already was so good). And, as for the Fish: they should be better at QB with Ferrotte (that's not saying much, though), at RB with R.Brown and Rickey, and up-front on D, but it's going to be tough with their schedule to improve that much with the age, defensive backfield and, especially, O-line that they have--even if Saban coaches well. They have a chance to be competitive, but I'm not sure that that will translate into that many more wins--at least not until they get their offensive line problems fixed.

The Cardinals defense is better than decent, when you see a Cardinals game you will see how good they are.

I think the Vikes, Raiders and Cowboys would be toward the top, but the Cowboys may have negated some of the good they did on D with the addition of Drew on O.

Well this question was'nt very specific so....

Houston Texans

The Texans were an expansion team only a few years ago but year after year they draft well, and make smart Free Agent acquisitions. They are quietly building a great football team. I think in about 2 more year the Texans are going to find themselves with a talented franchise. But the important thing is they are building a young team, I really like what they have done.

That's just what I was going to say. And I'd add the Cardinals to your list. The Cardinals got exactly what they wanted and needed from the draft. I couldn't believe how everybody they wanted/needed kept falling on their lap! Their team will rise through the ranks as quickly as most of those rookies can come up to speed. They will be better this year, and even better next year!

Another thing about the Vikings, they did add a lot to that defense this year, but who's to say if they can gell together in time. almost reminds me too much of the redskins the year they got everyone...

that being said, that division is terrible, and they have every reason to win it.

The Vikes definetly. There my NFC Super Bowl pick.

NY Jets

Nugent and Law are going to be huge for them.

The Vikings always try and load up on defense and every year they still get scorched and give up a ton of points.

I don't know...the Vikings have a fantastic D-line. I think they are going to turn alot of heads. Everyone seems to be expecting the same ol' thing and I think they are going to be the strong team in the NFC to beat!

I Agree on the Vikes this year. No more Moss means less explosive attack, and more ground game control. So defense won't be that much on field (remember the Buffalo Bills Super Bowl years). More balance.

The Vikings, followed by the Dolphins IMO.You have no choice but to improve when your one of the worst teams in the league
