1972- The Bills defeated the Vikings 21-10.
1974- The Bills defeat the Redskins 16-15 at RFK, on a last second 52 yard field goal by John Leypoldt.
1986- Jim Kelly signs a five year 1.75 million dollar contract with the Bills, making him the highest paid player in the NFL. He arrived in Buffalo later in the day to a hero's welcome, with people lining up along the Kensington Expressway to welcome him. With a lot less fanfare but equally significant, the Bills also signed Kent Hull.
