I was at the afternoon session where the players practiced on the nearest grass field and the Growney Stadium. The Buffalo Bills worked on a bunch of different drills and were in full pads today. There was definitely some nice hits as the players had a hard workout. The Bills worked on some individual drills, field goals, 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and some 11-on-11 drills this afternoon.

http://www.billszone.com/mtlog/archives/2005/08/18/billszone_training_camp_report_8172005.php

Yeah he is. I'm also starting to see him connect with the tight ends a lot lately.

Great job, Mikey!

Rian Lindell got another shot to impress with a 47-yard field goal, under "pressure." The Bills players all stood near him and were screaming into his ears and trying to get the crowd to cheer too, to distract him. It didn't work, Lindell nailed the 47-yarder with a kick that would have been good, even if it was a 55 yarder.

Ever wonder if other teams read these reports and copy us? :snicker: I bet they'd do it to Brien.

Another great job Mikey

Looks like all the praise Gandy was getting from the coaches is starting to make sense.

Man, I think Bobby April should get coach of the year, eventhough he's not a head coach. I mean, he took one of the worst units in football and turned them into the #1 unit. And anyone who can get Lindell to make long field goals and consistently kick the ball off inside the 5 should win a nobell prize or something

I picked him as my fantasy kicker:couch:

Good report. At least from the reports coming out of training camp this is the strongest Bills team we've had in some time. I'm going by my admittedly flawed memory of reports from past training camps.

Is Parrish still diving for uncatchable balls? lol.

Yeah he is. I'm also starting to see him connect with the tight ends a lot lately. :up:That's great to hear..he's gonna need to use those guys as outlet receivers often early on this season

I agree. And I especially love the relationship that him and Mark Campbell have. Campbell catches everything Losman throws.

Campbell catches everything Losman throws. :up:That's what I really love to hear  Hopefully, Campbell is able to take it to another level...I've really like what I've seen from him since we got him from Cleveland but if he puts up a good enough season, it'll silence his detractors

I'm working on a final conclusion piece to tie up my thoughts of camp this year and will have that soon.
