For the past 3 or so years, I have had season tickets in Section 134, row 4. Those tickets are dead on the 50 behind the Bills bench. As a group, my friends had been using them for 5-10 years. We have these through a woman in Chicago who has the tix in her name due to a company she used to work for. She is a friend of a friend (who has since moved out of town and no longer uses the seats)
Last year we were cut from 10 to 6 tickets, but we could deal with that. A few months ago, we sent her our money and were told that the tickets would be purchased like normal. That was releif since last year, some guys said they were going to take all of the tickets from us. Today, out point person received a check in the mail for the full price of the tickets. Not note or explanation was sent.
There are a few people here who have seen the seats and know how good they are. You could literally hear coaches yelling. It was normal to hear Krumrie go nuts at least once a game. Last year at the Cardinals game, after a fan in our area yelled some personal stuff at Drew, Teague turned around and ripped the guy a new one, quite audibly too. During the pre-season, it was very easy to focus in on a certain area of the team (i.e. O-line) and get a feel for who was good and who sucked.
I can deal with not having the tickets. I really can, even though it sucks. But to drop us with not explanation and this little of a warning, well, it gets me a tad bit angry.
We are now scrambling to get seats and it looks like we are going to end up in section 124. That is in the tunnel end zone.
I am just glad no ladies or young children were around me when I read the e-mail informing me of this.Originally posted by mysticsotoLecter is right in everything he said.
