I was just reading an article in which it states that the Bills opened the preseason at 3-0 only ONCE. Not too mention the fact that they nevere even went 2-0 in the preseason.

It was way back in 1966 that they opened the preseason with a 3-0 mark.

If the teaam beats the Bears on Friday it will be a perfect preseason and a perfect start to what promises to be an awesome season.

Um, how does a team that never went 2-0 go 3-0?

I attribute it to a DEEP Team, man I am awaiting the cut on defense some of those cuts are going to be tough I think are second string LB's could start in the NFL and our DB's are coming along which kinda puts us in a nice position with Clement if we lose him we have DEPTH I think we are looking at a GREAT TEAM in the making

BINGO! There is no game planning, the team doesnt watch film, the preseason record has no bearing on the regular season.

it should be based on the talent on the field.

No matter how we say it, no matter how good we play, 3-0.......4-0......2-2..... pre-season is STILL pre-season!

The only good I see coming from this is the fact that a strong preseason will teach the team how to win prior to game #1. Last year, all we heard for the first 5-6 weeks was that the team hadnt learned how to win yet...

Hopefully that has changed come week 1 this year.

It may only be preseason as several of you have eluded to in this thread, but the wins do put the players in a positive frame of mind and that spills over into the regular season IMO.

There are few things in this world less meaningful than preseason wins and losses. Perhaps Bobby Brown's show.

The fact that our 2nd & 3rd string QBs are veterans & we're pretty deep on defense, means we'll probably win all 4 exhibition games. However, the 4-0 record will be totally meaningless.

Uh...we have one more pre-season game after the Bears. The Lions at the Ralph Sept.2. We could go 4-0, but let's not start counting our chickens...that's bad karma.

I like what i see in our first string- the offense has been moving the chains and no 3 -and-outs.

Good post from a fins fan. It's exactly that. Nothing more, nothing less.
