On This Date in Bills History....

1962- The Bills defeat the Oilers in Mobile, Alabama, 21-14.

1968- The Oilers beat the Bills soundly, 37-7, in yet another neutral site, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

1980- The Bills shutout the Pack, 14-0 at Rich Stadium.

1982- Joe Cribbs 'declares' himself a free agent. The league issued a memo to all teams that it simply wasn't the case, and that Cribbs was under contract with the Bills.

He did start something here tho. Up until this point in time, a lot of players didn't whine and moan about their contracts. They played the best they could to get the money they deserved. They didn't play 'better' to get the bigger contracts. They still loved the game of football and a contract meant something.
When I die, please don't let my wife sell my camera equipment for what I told her I paid for it.
