Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Boris Mironov has decided to end his 28-day holdout and return to the Chicago Blackhawks.
There's no time table for Mironov's return to the active roster. He walked away from the team December 3 and demanded to be traded, saying he wanted more ice time and was then suspended by the club two days later.
The 30-year-old Mironov has three goals and an assist in 20 games this season and is averaging just over 19 minutes a contest. He was acquired by the Blackhawks from the Edmonton Oilers on March 20, 1999.
