On This Date in Bills History....

1960- The Oakland Raiders spoiled the dedication of War Memorial Stadium, by defeating the Bills 26-21.

1978- Coach Knox cuts long time punter, Marv Bateman.

1991- The Bills second teamers looked terrible in a 30-13 loss to the Bears in Chicago.

1992- In Kansas City, the Bills second teamers get blanked 35-0, but the Monday Night game is significant because it is the NFL's first attempt at placing radio communication in the Quarterbacks helmets.

2002- Looking terribly flat, the Bills fall to the Colts in the Dome, 19-7.

      What a day
“You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.
