1967- The Eagles became the first NFL team to play at War Memorial Stadium. They defeated the Bills 38-30.

1969- Tom Sestak announces his retirement, and Ed Rutkowski is waived.

1978- The Steelers send Paul Seymore back to the Bills due to him having the gout, but Frank Lewis is allowed to stay in Buffalo as the two clubs figured out compensation for the wide receiver.

1988- The Bills defeat the Buccaneers 14-7 in Nashville, Tennessee.

2001- The Bills defeat the Bengals 20-10 in Cincinnati.

How good was that Frank Lewis trade ? We got a vet WR with hands of glue for free. He and Jerry Butler were a joy to watch for about 4 years. I really enjoyed those Chuck Knox teams.

Tom Sestak was a great player.and belongs in Canton, IMO
