I've talked to him so many times, and my good friend Jason is best friends with him from HS, Aaron doesnt want to play here. He loves the area, but doesnt want to deal with being asked for tickets and all that other crap that go's along with your home town, much like Marchant. I could see him sitting out if he was forced to be traded here, really.

Todd Marchant was never opposed to playing in Buffalo. Columbus just offered him more money and a longer deal.

then you were not really born Feb 14th 1987, were you? I speak to his ol man on occasion. What you say is partly true. But Bill aka "Coach" never mentioed he would sit out.

He wouldn't be able to find someone to handle these requests. I'm sure he would be the first player to play in his home town. It is a cop out, if you ask me.

You couldnt be more wrong, when he was a UFA, why didnt he sign here then?? Buffalo offerd him a nice contract.

i have mixed feeling about this one, at least it was only a 3rd rounder for him, I kinda like this deal, woulda prefered something bigger but meh, it'll do for now, just get a goal scorer already

If nobody wants to play for their home town, why is half of the NHL wanting to play for the Maple Leafs or Canadiens.

Aaron Miller is a 35 yr old injury prone defenseman. We already have McKee to fill that role and he's 8 years younger.

Plus, if he ever did play here, there are plenty of good seats available for his family to buy.

Great. Another soft defenseman who doesn't score. Just what we need. :puke:
