1968- The day after a 37-7 loss to the Oilers, an angry Coach Collier puts his team through a full contact scrimmage, where Ron McDole falls on Jack Kemp's knee, tearing the ligaments. Kemp is lost for the entire season.
1973- The Bills are defeated by Butkus and the Bears, 13-10 at Rich Stadium.
1986- Quarterback Bruce Mathison is waived, and Coach Bullough announces that Jim Kelly will get the start against the Bears at Notre Dame Stadium.
