The guy has had one too many chances and continues to suck.

I know it's only preseason, but a missed extra point and 46 yard field goal tonight just adds to his long list of mistakes since he's been a Bill.

How many more chances does this guy get?

We are going to see alot of tight games this season and we need a reliable kicker that doesn't scare the absolute S out of me everytime he walks on to the field.

I think I even saw him miss one on the sideline with that little soccer net. Seriously.

Who cares about this game. It's him costing us a game that matters that scares me. You know it's going to happen too.

during the regular season lindell is 165-165 on extra point attempts. he has also made 2 fgs this game. you people are over-reacting.

just think about the 54 yarder he made last week and you may feel better.

Yea, I haven't given out an opinion on Lindell yet, but I'm tired of him too. So, he can make some long kicks now. He still is going to miss more times then not, and now the coaching staff feels safe having him kick from 40 yards and out. So, when he does miss, the other team will be getting better field position. BAH! The worst part is that there really aren't any upgrades out there. I'll say it again, BAH!

Lindell has great stats. He just has a knack for missing kicks when you really need them. I don't trust the guy.

Lindell has improved this year, I'm not ready to give up on him just yet. Let's wait and see.

Oh for Pete's sake, bring back what's his name...

Jake Arians was it? Lindell does suck man. We can count on losing at least two games on account of this guy.

P.O.S.

I have not seen the game. I'm just reacting. Were both mistaks entirely his fault. Solely his fault?

So if the Bills win any games this year by 3 points or less, will there be any "Lindell is a hero" posts?

Hardly.

It's like some people have a pathological need to hate somebody, anybody on the team.

If their team won every game and nobody ever made a single mistake they'd be *****ing about the Gatorade boy.

Novacane

If he makes any game winning kicks then he'll be a hero. How many of you guys defending him will feel confident he's gonna drill it if he lines up for a 40 yarder with 3 seconds left and the Bills down by 2?

It's not about hating him. He makes people nevous. He seems to miss his kicks at the worst times.

I would feel about as confident with him as I would with almost any other average kicker- that he would have about 20% shot of missing it.

Lindell has never missed an extra point in the regular season, so I would say his miss against the Bears was an abberation. He hit 38 and 44 yard FGs against the Bears, plus a 54 yarder (and was just wide on a second 54 yarder) against the Pack.

Why all the hate?

that was on hell of an intelligent post juice.Quit cryin' and *****in' fairway, we lost because the pass game was non-existant and the run game was stuffed all night.. your going to lose when you average less than 10 yds per pass and less than 3 yds per rushing attempt.

Lindell went like 2/3 with a couple of long field goals 40+ yds.. Some people will find a reason to cry about anything and blame everything on the kicker.

Why not blame the defense who got run over by the 2nd string RB, or Schobel who seemed to be a non-factor all night in run and pass defense with no QB pressure. It takes great intelligence to blame the kicker when he was the leading scorer on offense.

Any Cheese to go with that Whine Maam?

Moorman messed up the hold on that first miss for the extra point

It was not Moorman's problem, it was the rookie snapper's (#75 Duke Preston) problem.

Lindell does piss me off sometimes, but why is nobody starting a thread *****ing about the fumbles and shady play in other areas? Everyone is so quick to blame Lindell everytime a game is lost by a few. It was a horrible snap, yes maybe he coulda still made it, but it didnt cost us the game.

Rian Lindell = the Drew Bledsoe of kickers. Decent stats, but will find new ways to mess up every time. Cant do it in the crunch.

Im all for getting rid of Lindell. He is crappy and way overpriced for the player that he is. But who else is out there?

Looks like Lindell is the most consistent Offensive player on the team thus far.. who would've thought that Lindell would out perform Moorman on STs.
