1966- The Jets defeated the Bills 34-17 in the preseason finale played in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

1968- Kay Stevenson is acquired in a trade with the San Diego Chargers.

1981- The Bills picked up quarterback Matt Robinson from Denver for a 100 dollar waiver fee.

1982- Gary Anderson missed three field goal attempts in a 20-14 win at Washington.

1996- Dissatisfied with his contract, Bruce Smith threatens to sit out the season opener.

2003- Buffalo defeats Detroit 22-16 at the Ralph.

Bruuuuuce never deserved to wear another team's colors. He should have been one Bill that you hold onto until their career is done. It's almost sad that his all time sack record was a obtained with a sorry looking half sack.

Smith should have been a Bill from day one to the day he hung up the pads. IMO.
