"I think the author has a little too much confidence in his ability to predict the "Drew counterfactual""

"i guess he'd be happier with todd collins or rj. what a fool... "

"Guy is supposed to be a knowledgeable fan?"

I guess the writer has to ask himself if it's everyone or just him (ahem) or her that is  ing fixated on Drew and Gilbride.

Something tells me that the writer spends a lot of time talking to himself. Maybe the jalepeno vapors drive you crazy.

This Kevin Thomas lovefest must end now! He played two good games yes. But one was in the wind (neither QB did played well) and one was against the worst team in the league.

I like him, don't get me wrong, but to say he is going to challenge Winfield and Clements is preposterous.

I wonder if the author has pics of Bledsoe and Gilbride on his wall, with REDRUM painted in red above it...:D

Who is Wile E.?

Sure, maybe Thomas had two good games but most OC don't like throwing Winfields way. He hurts their WR's a lot.

Starting Thomas over Winfield is like aquiring a qb from the Jaguars because he had one good game as a back-up and playing that same qb in the playoffs because he had a good game against the Colts 2 stringers.

Let me guess, he was once a Rob Johnson fan? I mean still is? Then what I just said makes sense if I'm right. wingding?

I am pretty big on Kevin Thomas, not just because he had two games, but he plays a "pure" coverage style, breaking on the ball and hovering near the WR, rather than bumping them (Watson really pisses me off, he usually has his man locked on, and screws up the last part). The 3rd CB is supposed to have an easier job, but is expected to do it well, NE really does this well, they don't seem to ever have their players in an assignemnt they can't handle. I have high hopes for our D next year.
