How come Shaud didn't have any carries last night?

I thought that both Gates and Williams were going to get a lot of carries to help decide who is going to be the #2 back. I know Gates carried the ball a lot, but looks like Shaud only had a reception. I didn't get to watch the game. Anyone hear or know anything?

Speaking of Willis, why did he get 21 carries??? I think his job is locked up too.

Williams has a roster spot locked up, and IMO the quantity of carries for McGahee is more of an indication that Mularkey wanted to give the o-line more reps in front of the guy they're actually going to be blocking for the majority of the time this season.

Lee didn't get any carries either. I think McGahee and Gates are the locks.

agreed. I still would like to see what Shaud Williams can do with the starters. I think he's a better #2 guy for now, until Gates develops a bit more.
