    A perfect season!

After some realization it’s come to my mind that simply winning is not good enough for some people. Not only do we need to win; we need to dominate each and every game. Any competent fan understands that a team of that capacity comes only once every 4 or 5 years. The chances of seeing one in your town are slim. However I decided to lay out the only season that would be acceptable to those people.

    Record 13-3
    Breakdown of wins
    -11-2 in AFC
    -3-1 in NFC
    -5-1 in AFC East
-Average margin of victory is 17 points
    Breakdown of losses
-Loss in week 6 on the road vs. a division opponent. We lose that game 31-28. We don’t make any mistakes but they still manage to beat us. In overtime nonetheless!
-Loss in week 11 to a NFC team with a 9-1 record. Again close game we lose 27-24 on last second field goal. We win the rematch in the Superbowl
-Loss in week 17 with all our players on the bench.
    Offense
-Never and I mean never scores under 24 points
-puts up about 400 yards of Offense every week, even during the 2 losses
-Must have at least 1 passing and 1 rushing TD every week
-Must score on the opening drive of each game.
-Must have at least 24 1st downs every week
-Must not have more then one big (45 yards or more) passing or running play per game. Although it’s ok to have one of each. (it’s not good to only score on big plays)
-Must run the ball 70% of all snaps.
    QB
-Must be a late round steal or a FA
    -Must make under 500K
-Must throw between 250 and 325 yards every week.
-Must complete at least 63% of passes
-Although he must throw 1 TD every game, He CAN NOT throw for more then 3. (don’t want to be unbalanced)
-allowed 1 sack every 2 games and 1 Int every 3 games
-Must run for 15 yards a game including one for a 1st down.
-must have a QB rating of at least 100%but it must not exceed 115%
    RB
-Starter must get between 100 and 125 yards a game.
-Starter must average at least 4.5 yards a carry
-Starter must score at least 1 TD rushing a game.
-Starter must catch 5 balls for at least 40 yards a game
    WR’s
-Top two have 85 catches each.
-one averages 20 yards a catch.
    -The other scores 17 TD’s
    Defense
-Allows an average of 11 points a game
-Averages 4.5 sacks a game, 1.5 Ints per game, 1 fumble recovery per game, and a TD every third game.
-Does not allow a single 100 rusher or 300 yard QB
    Special Teams
-6 returns for TD’s on season,
    -0 TD’s allowed.

    Playoffs
-Absolute annihilation of both foes in the playoffs.
-Defense gets one shutout and allows 3 points in the other game.
-Offense scores an average of 42 points in both victories.
-QB both games 17-21 for 302 yards 2 TD’s no Int’s in first game, 16-21 for 315 yards 2 TDs and 1 Int in second game.
-RB total of 300 yards in the two games.

    Superbowl
    -QB 21-23 for 293 yards 1 TD’s no Int’s.
    -RB 145 yards, 2 TD’s and MVP.
    -We win game 35-10
TD’s in Superbowl as follows; 2 Running, 1 passing, 1 Special Teams, 1 Defense

Ahhh the perfect season! It’ll happen some day wing man.

Patrick that still won't be good enough. They would say that the other teams were having a bad day, the QB missed 2 passes he should of made, the WR should of caught the one ball that he dropped when he landed on his head (after all he got both hands on it and he was wearing a helmet), the RB went left instead of right or he would have gained 10 yards instead of 8, the coach had his headset on wrong, didn't show enough emotion on that play, showed to much on the other, and on and on and on! OH YEA We should pick up this guy, that guy was picked up because he use to play for him, they cut this guy cause he played for the other guy. and on and on and on.:xplode:

It doesn’t need to be Ditka just as long as the coach doesn’t make a single mistake all season.

                3 losses are too many.

No sportswriter, TV, or radio guy has the stones to tell Ditka he made a mistake.

There's nothing wrong with total domination, Patrick.

There's not a stone in my heart I've left unturned
Not a piece of my soul that I ain't searched
The only answer I found for all this hurt
Is there ain't not answer here on earth
