While driving to NJ last week I was listening to ESPN radio, and they were discussing throwback uniforms and saying that the NFL is doing away with them. I dont know how much validity there is to this but these guys sounded serious. Anyone else hear these rumors? was it discussed already and i missed it? I think it would be a horrible idea for many reasons. I love old school unis and think every team should have them. They help generate good revenue for small market teams. I actually think some teams throwbacks are better than their current unis (San Diego, Dallas, and I'm a huge fan of ours). Anyone else hear anything on this?

Re: anyone else hear this rumor?
it could be some misinformation to drum up sales, ie
"throwbacks are going away, buy yours now!!!"
Then two months from now:
"Due to vastly increase sales, the throwback jerseys will be used indefinitely"

Its a money maker no way in heck the NFL gets rid of them. They might limit teams to have only 3 jerseys.
