In truth it was so bad move from Denver in taking Maurice Clarett, he is that bad ????

he's lazy and the article that someone posted here said he didn't have the cut-back style that Shanahan was looking for.
But really, he's not ready. He played what- like 1 or two seasons of college ball and was injured most of that time? Then while he was fighting for the right to be drafted, he let himself get out of shape. Simply put, he's out of shape physically and lacks experience. The only way someone can make something out of this guy is by using him on the practice squad and sending him to NFL Europe. If they do that and he works hard, he might be ready to contribute in a year or two. Right now, he's pretty much worthless. -

It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Good point. It really is amazing how someone would gamble on Clarett and not go after a guy like Henry. I would think that the only reason would be for cost savings with Henry's contract being up at the end of the year - his payday would probably be higher than a rookie's.Originally posted by FairwayComment

Denver didn't even give him a signing bonus. He is a total dope, and so is his agent for letting him sign the contract. He has gotten nothing but bad advice so far and he is listening to all of it. Now he has nothing and no one will want to sign him.Comment
