In wake of what New Orleans is going through, I believe that the New Orleans Saints players realize that they owe a championship to the city of New Orleans this year. I believe the Saints players will come out swinging come week 1 and they will not stop until the Lambordi trophy is raised by Haslett and the team in Detroit.

The players will come out to play like it's their last game which could possibly be with all the speculations surrounding this team. So relax and enjoy the ride!!

Mark My words: "THIS WILL BE A SEASON THE SAINTS FANS WILL NOT FORGET."

hard to run a roll call on the internet, when most of the people dont have electricity or computers.

Still you would think at least 1 would have gotten out and used the internet.

I don't know about a championship...but the Saint's aren't that bad of a team if Brooks can avoid the crucial mistake. And sports are one area that can really help the morale of LA getting it into and through the rebuilding phase of this disaster. I would not be surprised if every game for the Saints carries a little more meaning for them this season.

I think this is the end of professional sports in New Orleans. Hard to justify supporting a team when so many other needs take a bigger priority.

The New Orleans will be lucky to have football back next year. If ever again.

Hey Pride, didn't you hear, the NFL has established a new trophy to be awarded to the League chumps? It's called the Lambordi Trophy. It's the Lombardi trophy that they award to the champs.

The Saints have basically been saying "the show must go on"

Their pent up emotions are not going to bring them to the Super Bowl, though.
