1969- In a twist of irony, the Bills finish their preseason in Los Angeles at the Coliseum, where OJ excelled in college. His homecoming was a rough one, as the Bills lost to the Rams 50-20, with OJ only rushing for a meager twenty yards.

1976- Ralph rejects a trade offer from the Rams for OJ Simpson.

1981- In possibly their finest opener ever, the Bills shutout the New York Jets 31-0 at Rich Stadium.

1998- Steve Christie shanks a field goal with three seconds remaining, and the Bills lose a road opener in San Diego, 16-14.

Boy, we've had our share of crappy kickers.

Just the other day we got reminded about that club foot bastard Tom Dempsey.

Soon, we'll be reminded about how John Leypolt missed 3 fg's on a opening MNF loss to the stupid fish.

Saban was so mad he cut him right after the game.

Norwood was great, except for that one kick.

Norwood was good, and somewhat like Lindell. Consistent from inside the 40, not great from farther out.

Norwood's famous "Wide Right" was in the rain, on grass, and a little out of his effective range. I have never blamed him for missing that one.
