Returning to the Zone for yet another season is Eb's UMFP. Thanks Eb and thanks to all the great Zone writers.

There are days, trying days, when the magnitude of another football game, even a season opener, are put into perspective. As football fans and more importantly, Buffalo Bills fans, we like to think we prepare ourselves mentally for the football season as much as the players prepare physically. Our excitement starts as training camp nears and grows to a fevered pitch until the first kickoff in September. The rosters have been memorized. The tedious task of learning all the stats is done. We play field general and draft our fantasy teams in the hope of showing how much we know. We play for a chance to win some money and boast about our triumphs.

Good, objective analysis, Eb. I Just hope you're 3 or 4 games off on your 8-8 prediction - in our favor, of course.

I think if the defense shortens the field, we will win more than 8 games. While losman does make stupid plays, he really doesn't make stupid throws. Did he throw an INT all pre-season?

Actually, he did that last game. But he usually doesn't...

I have a feeling he will move more also in the real games. I felt like the coaches told him not to run in the preseason and other than roll outs, he anchored himself back there. But if there's an opportunity to gain some yards and nobody's open, in a real game, he will have to run (and hopefully slide) afterward...

options: run Willis or throw

this year: run willis , throw, qb roll out, qb draw, bootleg.
