Another Home Game for the Bills

Len P on espn.com is reporting that the Oct. 2 Bills/Saints game is likely to be played in Buffalo. It will be interesting to see how the Bills handle ticket sales, especially with season ticket holders.

Yeah, just saw on the Saints website that Saints season ticket holders and others that had purchased tickets for the Giants' game will have first crack at buying tickets. Then the Giants "waiting list" (I'm guessing they mean Giant season ticket holders?) will get a chance, then the general public.

hahaha, very true. I'd be pumped to go to this game tho. It be much better than playing a Saints team in their "home opener" at whatever site they choose. You know that would be a spirited atmosphere and a modivated Saints squad the Bills would be going up against in that one, not to mention the nation media attention. In my opinion, that's a sure loss with the track record this franchise has had under those circumstances.

Having it at home would be great, 4 home games in a row would help ease some of the growing pains JP is gonna have.

If what Len P. is saying comes to fruition, am I the only bill fan who has misgivings about this? In strictly football terms, is this a little unfair to the teams in the AFC West and AFC NOrth that the bils get an extra home game? IMO Paul tagliablue should pick a city (San ANtonio, LA etc.etc.etc.) and have the saints play all their "home" games theire. Not to mention how unfair it is to the Saints to be playing their "home " games in what was originally visiting teams stadiums. Just my 2 cents.

I think at this point to try and get a differeny stadium up to par would be impossible. Unless they play at a nerutral stadium, say Dallas or Houston, I think the road team is the best idea.

NFL is all about how much revenue will be generated and since ther will be no stadium near NO available for awhile ther will be more tickets sold if games are played in the original visiting teams stadium. There is a good chance that the stadium would be half empty if played in a city that currently doesnt have an NFL team. Here is an interesting question if that game doesnt sell out will it be on local TV considering Buffalo will be the road team
