Blue Friday is a large downtown pep rally designed to celebrate the Buffalo Bills 2005-2006 football season. Blue Friday will be broadcast live and anticipates the attendance of at least 8,000 fans. Fans will be joined by current members of the Buffalo Bills organization, alumni and the Buffalo Jills. Heritage Centers will also be honoring the Buffalo Bills 1990 Super Bowl Team.

"Blue Friday is really a celebration of Western New York's love affair with the Buffalo Bills," said Michael Gross, Heritage Centers Executive Director. "Heritage Centers is proud of our long-standing relationship with the team. We are honored to host such a great event. "

Admission is free of charge ("The 12th Man Gets In For Free!"), refreshments (beer, pop and food stations) will be available for a modest price and music entertainment will be provided by Universal Grille, The Juliet Dagger, Klear and Milkfat.

Sponsors for this year's event include: KeyBank, HealthNow, Lawley Service Insurance Group of Companies, National Fire Adjustment Co. Inc., K-D Supply Corp., LaBatt, Joe Basil Chevrolet Inc., Brickkicker Home Inspections, Delaware North Companies, HSBC Bank, Merrill Lynch, Adelphia Cable, Blasdell Pizza, Business First, Chef's Restaurant, Pepsi, Xpedex and The Zenger Group.

All proceeds from "Blue Friday" will benefit the Heritage-Oak Foundation, which supports Heritage Centers and people with disabilities. Heritage Centers is a local non-profit that employs over 900 people and serves more than 3,000 individuals with disabilities (and their families) each year. Individualized services include, but are not limited to: early intervention, education, residential, vocational, service coordination, legal and advocacy programming.
