    On This Date in Bills History....

    1970- The Bills waived quarterback James Harris, but since no one else claimed him, he came back to the Bills.

    1979- Roland Hooks only carries the ball five times, but scored four touchdowns in a 51-24 rout of he Bengals at Rich Stadium.

    1990- The Bills opened the season with a 26-10 victory over the Colts, knocking Jeff George out of the game in the process.

    2001- Ricky Williams and the Saints run all over Gregg William's laughingstock of a team, 24-6 on the 2001 season opener.

    I have never seen anybody throw a ball like James Harris. That guy has a cannon.
