Buffalo success over Houston depends on...

Defensively: Domanick Davis vs. London Fletcher (via air)
    reasons:
    1. As expected D.Davis is going to have to carry the load. (50%-70%)
    2. He is the real Carr's safety valve because he's got very soft hands, runs precise routes and for two consecutive years he has made a very special chemistry with Carr.
    3. Texans don't have a physical OL to dominate the front 7 of the Bills.

Offensively: Kelly Holcomb vs. Texans LB corps...
    Reasons:
    1. Houston's defense finished the 2004 season ranked a respectable 13th vs. the run.
    2. Holcomb is a veteran QB who really knows how to beat a young downgraded LB unit that have undergone major changes in this off-season(specially pass coverage)
    3. Holcomb clearly outplayed Losman in the preseason

Holcomb won't play today, unless JP gets dinged.

Holcomb should be the QB today. J.P. is not ready and it will show (unfortunately) today. Our lack of O-Line, TE, CB depth will be exposed as well. Oh yeah, did I mention our kicker.

JP is our future. We need him to take the licks now or we'll either have 3 wasted draft picks and no QB for the future.

          JP should and will start.

JP is fine. There will be growing pains but they won't be as prevalant as you people think. He's going to be nervous at first. I can't wait until the second half. JP has the wherewithall to make plays...and he will.

ok, maybe not, but admit that JP is doing good!
