On This Date in Bills History....

1960- Buffalo loses its first ever regular season game 27-3 to the Titans at the New York Polo Grounds.

1965- On route to their second consecutive AFL Championship, the Bills spank the Boston Patriots 24-7 in their season opener at War Memorial.

1983- The stingy Bills defense stymies the Bengals for a 10-6 victory at Riverfront Stadium.

1988- Three Scott Norwood field goals were all that were needed against the floundering fish, and the Bills defeat them 9-6 to move to 2-0 for the first time since 1982.

1994- Steve Christie makes a 32 yard field goal with less than a minute to play, as the Bills edge the Patriots 38-35 at Foxboro.
