I think we are underestimating the impact of morale on team and the efforts the organization is taking to correct this. It's no secret the veteran players have been badmouthing the club for years. Letting them walk away at this point is most likely influenced by an attempt to address a negative culture in the Sabres players. Businesses have been fighting this war for years...decreased productivity just because their workers have a bad attitude. We're going to field a younger team..and I truly believe if there is a well fitting player to our team they will be had if possible. Right now, it would be nice to get something going in buffalo where the players, no matter how young or experienced they are, get excited about hitting the ice from day one until the finals. This is the call that I have to Regier and the rest of the organization: get things headed in the right direction and keep them going until we rise to the top.
