The Bills coaching staff deserves alot of credit for a well managed game and the playcalling was exceptional but a bit risky to an extent.

JP was playing well and making good decisions for the most part early in the game with the exception of the HailMary pass he threw up at one point when he seemed to lose focus. Willis wasn't putting up huge chunks of yardage per carry but it was obvious that the Texans defense wasn't going to hold up throughout the second half and it was only a matter of time until the constant pounding took it's toll.

It seemed a bit risky to run a reverse in the game when we were winning the game by double-digits putting the ball in the hands of Lee Evans and losing 10 yds, an unnessesary risk that could end up in a momentum changing turnover. I can live with Willis losing 2 or 3 yards on a run behind MW and CV alot more than Lee Evans getting dragged down risking the possible Turnover or Injury to our most potent deep threat.

What also seemed a bit outta' character for this "Wiilis all Day" offense was the designed Naked Bootlegs that, while gained yardage, seemed to put the young QB at risk when it wasn't called for - especially with JP not having mastered the art of sliding as of yet.

Why use the smallish JP on these run situations that might get him hurt when Willis at 235 and possessing the sickest stiff arm in the game along with world class speed seems to be better built for this type of duty. If we're going to use WM to wear down defenses then maybe we should just stick to the gameplan as long as we're not losing the game or not losing the lead.

I think the coaching staff got a little over-exited with the success that the young QB was having in the passing game and the way he was able to elude the rush with his nimble feet.. instead of just letting him cruise to his first League win and go into a week of practice to prepare for the upcoming Bucs, they may have exposed the kid to some hits that he didn't need to take while getting away from what this offense is supposed to be built around.

Willis off tackle left or right is going to be a better call than a reverse or naked bootleg when the team is up by 2 TDs.

It will be tough for the young QB to win alot of games if he's watching from the sidelines on crutches. :stretcher
