Here's an unbiased ranking sheet based on how teams played last week. I challenge you to do yours as well.
Patriots - Still the best team in the league
Chiefs - Dominated a suppossed Super Bowl-calibre team on both sides of the ball
Colts - Adjusted well in the second half, but didn't face a great offense
Steelers - Who will hand Big Ben his first regular season loss?
Bengals - This offense is going to be scary this season
Falcons - Squeaked by at home against a decent team.
Cowboys - Beat a good Chargers team
Bills - Maybe the best D in the NFL won't have to carry this team after all
Eagles - This team is in for a long season
New Orleans - Proved they could win on the road
Jacksonville - Nothing impressive, but it was consistent
San Diego - Still have enough talent to challenge for the division title
Tampa Bay - They could be the Bills of the NFC if Williams plays like that all season
Carolina - Losing the home opener is something Super Bowl contenders just don't do
NY Giants - Turned on the afterburners against a decent team in the second half
Baltimore - Horrible offense, and the defense wasn't as dominant as it needs to be for this team to win
Oakland - Played alright on the road against the champs.
Minnesota - Next week is already a must-win for them. Culpepper has something to prove
Detroit - If the offense gets on track they might have an outside shot at making the playoffs
Seattle - Where was the offense?
Miami - Gus is not the answer in Miami, but he's better than Feeley - for now
Denver - As hot as it might have been in Miami, they still looked pretty bad
San Fransisco - At least they're not rolling over and dying this season
Arizona - Where was that vastly improved D?
St. Louis - If you can't beat SF with that offense it should be cause for concern
Redskins - QB controversy: Year 2.
Packers - They still have weapons on O, but losing Walker is a huge blow
Bears - Sadly, this team will be drafting in the top 5 again
Texans - Offense looked like a high school team full of 2nd stringers
Jets - Nowhere near the worst in the league, but they played like it Sunday
Browns - Still riding the Trent Dilfer Super Bowl wave
Titans - Worst team in the league. Hands down.
