1961- Without a genuine starter at the quarterback position, the Bills signed Warren Raab.
1973- Congress adopts official legislation allowing any game sold out 72 hours in advance, to be broadcast in its market of origin.
1980-The Bills defeat the Jets 20-10. At halftime, OJ Simson ran out onto the field in full uniform to see his name be put on the newly created Wall of Fame.
2002- The Bills start the season 2-0, with a 38-17 win over the Jags in Jacksonville.
